Grand Theft Auto V is an open world, action-adventure video game developed by Rockstar North and published by Rockstar Games. It was released on 17 September 2013 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. An enhanced version of the game was released on 18 November 2014 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and is scheduled to be released on 14 April 2015 for Microsoft Windows. The game is the first main entry in the Grand Theft Auto series since 2008's Grand Theft Auto IV. Set within the fictional state of San Andreas (based on Southern California), the single-player story follows three criminals and their efforts to commit heists while under pressure from a government agency. The open world design lets players freely roam San Andreas, which includes open countryside and the fictional city of Los Santos (based on Los Angeles).
The game is played from either a third-person or first-person view[c] and its world is navigated on foot or by vehicle. Players control the three lead protagonists throughout the single-player mode, switching between them both during and outside of missions. The story is centred on the heist sequences, and many of the missions involve shooting and driving gameplay. Players who commit crimes may incite a response from law enforcement agencies, measured by a "wanted" system that governs the aggression of their response. Grand Theft Auto Online, the online multiplayer mode, lets up to 30 players explore the open world and engage in cooperative or competitive game matches.
Development began in 2009, soon after the release of Grand Theft Auto IV. The development team envisioned Grand Theft Auto V as a spiritual successor to many of their previous projects, such as Red Dead Redemption and Max Payne 3. The game's use of three lead protagonists is a break from series tradition—a design choice from the developers to innovate on the core structure of its predecessors. As part of their research for the open world, the developers conducted field research around California throughout development and captured footage for the design team. Development duties were shared between many of Rockstar's studios worldwide.
Following its announcement in October 2011, Grand Theft Auto V was widely anticipated. It was acclaimed by many reviewers, with praise particularly directed at its multiple protagonist design, open-ended gameplay and technical advancements. Critics were polarised by a scene depicting torture and the game's treatment of women. Some labelled the game inherently violent and misogynistic. Grand Theft Auto V broke industry sales records and became the fastest-selling entertainment product in history, earning US$800 million in its first day and US$1 billion in its first three days. Considered one of the most significant titles of the seventh generation of video games, the game won year-end accolades, including Game of the Year awards from several gaming publications.

Mafia 3 Pre-view

Mafia 3 is the third part to the Mafia series and it seems that the game will be set in Louisiana. It is still in production and character such as Tony, Mickey and Franklin would be part of the game. Most gamers are still unaware of when Part 3 to the Mafia series will be released and many have commented that they never even knew that there was a part 3 to the game. 2 K Czech, developers of the game, has not yet announced a released date and so, many are presuming that it would be a next-gen video game.
There were rumors about the third installment getting released in 2013 but this proved to be false information. Many gamers have been looking out for Mafia 3 and a lot of people presumed that part 3 would be released sooner than now though current circumstances suggest that it’ll be long before we are able to purchase Mafia 3. The Mafia developers closed their office in Prague and made some cutbacks in 2011 because of which many are uncertain of the release date.
In addition to this the casting call was published on the 6th of March because of which it is safe to presume that there is still a long way to go before anything can be said about the release date. Since 2 K Czech has just been restructured it seems that the Mafia 3 release date is something that they have not yet touched upon and nor do they intend to say much else about the game. Many believe that 2 K Gen would reveal the Mafia 3 release date at Gamecon but we can’t be entirely sure of this.
2 K Czech did post job listings for Mafia 3 but they have not revealed much about the project itself because of which there’s not much that we can expect at this point. This goes to prove that the possibility of Mafia 3 is very real but not much else can be said about the third installment. All we can do is to speculate but seeing as how many who believed that part 3 would be released in 2013 have been disproved, all we can do is to sit tight and wait. No one is aware of when it could be released or whether or not it would be released this year though by the looks of it that seems to be unlikely.
So, far here’s what can be said about Mafia 3- The casting call for the game was published as recently as the 6th of March which goes to prove that the game is in development. It is most likely to be set in Louisiana and Frank, Mickey and Tony would be the main characters in it. It is still in development but the Mafia 3 release date is something that no one is yet sure of. All that can be said is that there’s still a long way before anything can be said about the release date- unless 2 K Czech surprises us at the next Gamecon. We can expect the game to be a next-gen game which would be released around the same time as Playstation 4 and the next Xbox. Apart from this nothing can be said about the Mafia 3 release date.
